Story concept, Zombie Runners

I crew this in July while out of town attending a cousin's wedding. For the past few weeks I've been kicking around a story idea of a film maker documenting the efforts of a group of improvised, Civilian militiamen that protect a small community of survivors holding up in an overrun Canadian city during the zombie apocalypse's aftermath. Who intentionally leave the safety of their fortifications, not to do war with the undead, but to draw the horde away from their home, lore them into traps, scour the ruins for supplies and play for time until Winter sets in, or at least the autumn frosts.

I wanted the aesthetic of people who found the means to survive within the zombie world. Mismatching equipment pickup along the way and repurposed. Clothing pieced and stitched together. Ingenuity winning over run and guns.

I will say it right now, This is heavyly inspired by (and set in) World War Z. I hate the term fan fic, this is more of a Homage.
